The short-range air defense missile system (ADMS) "Strela-10" is used to cover the battle formations of military bases and formations, and also protects critical infrastructure objects, from low-flying helicopters, attack aircraft, cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles of aircraft and helicopter types.

The use of two types of missiles equipped with semi-active and passive target seeking devices allows
ADMS "Strela-10" not only to hit various types of targets, but also makes the use by enemy aircraft of on-board electronic counter-countermeasure ineffective.

The "Strela-10" combat vehicle is fitted with equipment to pass water barriers, including when landing from ships on the sea coast
